Now Ctrl+Click on the red fill layer to load its selection and then create a new layer. Set your foreground color to #988675 and go to Edit - Stroke and apply a 4px inside stroke.

Now hit Ctrl+J to duplicate this layer and click on the duplicate layer’s “preserve transparency” icon in the Layers palette. Now set hit D to reset the foreground and background colors to their defaults. Go to Filter - Render - Clouds. then set the layer mode to “Overlay.” Then hit Ctrl+Shift+L to do an auto levels adjustment, which will give us more contrast.

Finally, hit D, then X to reset the colors and invert them. Now go to filter - Brush Stroke - Spatter and enter the following settings.

This finishes off the effect. It looks even better on a black background.
