Surreal Soft Focus Effect

Now go to the Channels palette and double-click on the “green” channel to load its selection. Then, go back to the Layers palette and create a new layer. Call it “glow top.”

Set your foreground color to white and hit Alt+Backspace to fill the new selection with white.

Finally, go to Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur again and this time, enter an amount of 10%.
