Retro 50’s Postcard

Next, go to Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur and enter an amount of 1. Then hit Ctrl+Alt+L to bring up the Levels dialog. Now you want to adjust your levels so that the lines are sharp once more and the photo has an overall washed out look. There’s no precise value I can tell you to enter here, just play around with it until it looks right. Generally, you’ll want to move the left most slider to the right and the other two to the left, like I have here.

Your photo should now look similar to this:

Now make “photo copy 2″ your active layer and click on the eye icon beside it to make it visible again. Then go to Filter - Sketch - Halftone Pattern and apply the following settings.

Lower the layer opacity to 60%. Then go to Image - Adjustments - Variations and click “Yellow” 2 times.

Finally, to finish up the postcard, I added a little text to mine.
