Winter Scene with Snowman

Now we need some snow. Create a new layer and using a large, hard-edged brush, paint in the snowy ground.

Now, using a hard, angled brush of varying opacity (again, a tablet works great here), block on some shadows on the snow. Pick up colors from your sky to use here.

Now we’re ready to start building our snowman. Create a new layer and grab the eloptical marquee tool and make a large circle for the base of the snowman. Fill it with white.

Now, double click on the layer to bring up the Layer Styles dialog and apply the following styles.
