Making A Postage Stamp

Now Ctrl+Click on the “edge” layer to load the selection. Keeping the selection loaded, delete the “edge” layer and hit delete, to remove the selected pixels from the “stamp base” layer.

Now Ctrl+Click on the “stamp base” layer and select the gradient tool. Select a white to black gradient and set the gradient ntype to “reflected” and the gradient opacity to 10%. Now drag from the center of the stamp out to create a dark to light to dark gradient across the width of the stamp:

Now we need an image. Pick any photo you like and scale it down to the size you need to fit inside the stamp. This will vary depending on the size of the stamp you’re creating.

Now, hit Ctrl+E to merge the photo with the “stamp base” layer.
