Next, using the pen tool again, draw shapes for the eye lids. Once you’ve created one, you can simply duplicate it and move it over (Ctrl+Alt+Arrow Key).

Create another new layer (”eyelids” and Ctrl+Click the paths in the Paths Palette, load the path and fill the selection with the body color (#a36b52).

With the selection still active, create another new layer. Fill this selection with black, then hit Ctrl+Alt+D to feather the selection. Enter an amount of 3 and then high delete. Release the selection and hit Ctrl+E to merge it with the “eyelids” layer. This will give your eyelids a nice little shadow and add some depth.

Next, we need to create the paths for the eyes. Just like the eyebrows, when you’ve created one, you can duplicate it for the second eye.

Create your “eyes” layer, load a selection from the paths and fill it with white.

Double click on the layer to bring up the layer styles settings. Give the eyeballs a black inner stroke of 1px.

Now create two black circles in the middle of the eyeballs for the pupils.
